New vice-president Joanne Marshall invites you to the HPMA North West event The Francis Report - workforce issues.
This workshop is designed to assist senior HR professionals plan the practical steps to implement the Francis report recommendations relating to workforce issues. We will look at:
• Reporting to the board and plan of action
• Performance management and the new flexibilities in AfC
• Accountability of directors
• Fundamental standards of behaviour
• Putting the patient first
• Openness, transparency and candour.
The session, led by Joanne Marshall, vice-president HPMA North West and director of culture development at the NHS Comissioning Board, will provide an opportunity to discuss ideas and practical steps. Contributors Deborah Hely and Kirsty Rowntree, employment lawyers from DACBeachcroft, will tackle legal implications and issues.
