Movement to Work, a collaboration of UK employers that aims to tackle youth unemployment
A social media campaign kickstarted by NHS Employers to show appreciation for EU staff in the NHS, has been warmly received across the NHS and gained national media coverage over the past couple of weeks.
Using the hashtag #LoveOurEUstaff, chief executive Danny Mortimer encouraged the NHS workforce to ensure that staff from elsewhere in the EU know that they are valued and welcome, to help allay any concerns that might have been brought by the public vote to leave the EU.
The campaign gathered momentum rapidly after the first tweet on Friday afternoon (24 June), and was soon trending on Twitter.
Since the start of the campaign, over 8,000 NHS staff across the country have shared positive messages and the hashtag has now had over 10,000 tweets and 21 million impressions.
