Movement to Work, a collaboration of UK employers that aims to tackle youth unemployment
On 2 March the HPMA West Midlands Branch ran a half day Change Management Masterclass at The Library in Birmingham which was well attended by 35 colleagues from across the region.
The event was led by Joanne Spencer and Karen Jones of Infinite You Limited (www.infiniteyou.co.uk ) who specialise in supporting organisations with change management, strategic leadership and people development support. They work primarily with organisations in the NHS, public and third sectors and are regular contributors to our Network e-newsletter, currently featuring a series of articles on managing successful change and handling ambiguity in complex organisations.
The event provided a highly engaging and interactive opportunity to explore practical examples and interactive techniques around change, based on the Prepare, Engage, Motivate, Support and Challenge, approach to managing change. In the workshop, colleagues were provided with the opportunity to explore current change challenges in their organisations, share best practice amongst each other and to also gain some new and helpful techniques to practically apply back in the workplace.

We will certainly be asking Joanne and Karen to come and deliver another workshop for us such was the quality of the feedback and value gained by HPMA colleagues from the event.
