Following on from last year’s very successful conference on “Engagement: the game changer”, the HPMA NI had invited Tim Pointer to join us for a workshop/ master class to continue the conversation on getting the Engagement strategy underway – with tips and tools to keep it on track. The event was held in the Antrim Civic Centre on Tuesday 16th June 2015.
Tim is the founder of Starboard and works with Executive teams to enhance strategic development and delivery through culture, leadership and engagement.
Tim is an executive coach, a writer for HR Review, and a business speaker. He was the Global HR Director of Pentland Brands 2010-2015 leading their people strategy across a portfolio of lifestyle and performance brands (including Canterbury, Speedo, Berghaus, Mitre, ellesse, Red or Dead, Lacoste & Ted Baker). This strategy underpinned a business transformation, and breakthrough business results including a 36% increase in Pentland Group profit.
Tim has 20 years of leadership experience, directing business transformation in global organisations across premium & lifestyle brands, FMCG and retail. On returning to the UK, Tim joined Diesel as UK & Eire HR Director, prior to moving to Pentland. He has also worked for Waterstone’s, and began his career as a Grad with M&S.
