Job title: Band 8b Head of Employee Relations and Workforce Governance

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Employee Relations and Workforce Governance to support the trust's efforts to maintain and develop its standing as a high quality employer able to effectively manage and develop its staff in the challenging NHS environment.

Key responsibilities include leading the employment relations function ensuring all managers in the trust are supported to deliver high quality people management, policy development, working in partnership with unions, risk management and assurance, developing the trust's approach to equality and diversity specifically in relation to its workforce as well as contributing to the organisational development/employee engagement agenda.

Candidates will be expected to be able to evidence excellent communication, management and negotiation skills coupled with extensive employee relations, team, budget & project management experience.
